October 2018: Upcoming Annual SAVE Meeting in Kathmandu 29-30 November 2018

We are delighted to confirm the venue for the 8th Annual SAVE meeting at Hotel View Bhrikuti at Godavari in the Kathmandu Valley http://hotelviewbhrikuti.com.np/ which will be hosted by Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN).

The meeting format will be two full days on 29 and 30 November revisiting and updating the SAVE Blueprint Recovery Plan, and discussing progress, blockages and solutions to progress the priority work. Vulture Safe Zones will be among the key topics. It will be the final meeting chaired by Professor David Houston, Chair of SAVE who comes to the end of his term. And we are delighted that we plan to formally welcome two new SAVE members to the Partnership including the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation, Nepal as Government partner and a new vulture consortium from Myanmar.
